Dedicated and hardworking legal and human rights consultant with over twelve years of experience encompassing child rights especially child protection and justice. Over 8 years in women's rights, and the rights of persons with disabilities. Provided four successful years of technical support and consultancy in the same fields to the Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and simultaneously facilitated preparation of Initial State Reports (UNICEF, Save the Children). Additionally, developed a draft of the Juveniles Referral System (MoSD/UNDP). Facilitated developing the “Mediators Guidelines” as a national consultant in cooperation with Law Enforcement Committee (UNICEF). Proudly participated in preparing and drafting Palestinian Juvenile Law through membership in the National Committee as a representative of Defense for Children International-Palestine Section. As a legal researcher, has efficiently prepared by-laws, regulations, safeguard and protection policies, technical reports, studies, training manuals, toolkits, procedural manuals, and guidelines. As a training expert, delivered professional training on various topics such as; Child Protection, child Justice, Restorative Justice approaches, CRC, CRPD, Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Advocacy, as well as specialized training programs for youth and children. At the regional level, as a consultant, co-developed a manual on alternatives to detention in Jordan, and a report on discriminatory laws against women and girls. Recently, acted as co-chair of the CP Case Management Task Force and representative of Terre des hommes in several clusters and working groups, including CPAoR.
